This work makes Switzerland's laws, regulations and circular letters for the supervision of insurance businesses accessible to insurance professionals who are not able to read them in one of Switzerland's national languages. It also provides a comprehensive overview of the regulatory system, summarizing the requirements for the establishment of an insurance business and for the registration of insurance intermediaries, as well as the standards for corporate governance, risk management, solvency, the investment of free and restricted assets, group and conglomerate supervision, and protective measures and other supervisory interventions.
